Make sure your calendar is marked on Friday, November 7. Join us on "The Great American Road Trip-Route 66" while we raise money for scholarship. Gala for Scholarship is Crossroads College Preparatory School’s single largest fundraiser. The gala event raises money solely for the school’s robust scholarship program. In years past, this event has raised over $100,000 for the scholarship program. This 2007-2008 school year, 46% of the student body is receiving financial assistance including scholarship, thus illustrating the importance of this annual event. Join us in our efforts to raise money for this very important program by becoming a sponsor of the event, placing and ad in the event’s auction booklet, donating an item for the auction, or attending the event. |
Gala for Scholarship 2008, 'The Great American Road Trip, is quickly approaching and we're excited for another successful event. To make this year's fund raiser a sensation, we need you! This year's event will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November 7th at the Moto Museum. We have many sub-committees already formed and if you haven't already, we welcome you to join one listed below.

- Publicity/Advertising
- Event Evening Volunteers

Going once! Going twice!
We have secured several auction items but are in need of many more. Please consider obtaining/donating some items for our auction. We would like to keep the value at $50 or more but can certainly bundle some smaller items. Click here to download the auction item donation form. Some suggested items include:
- Vacation homes
- Airline tickets
- Private dinners
- Services such as spa, massage, classes, interior design
- Event tickets such as baseball, football, concerts
- Once in a lifetime experiences
- Outings such as golf, hot air ballooning, birding
- Green items such as light bulbs, cleaning supplies, recycled products
- Jewelry
- Gift Certificates

- Private Dinner Planned and Organized by the Chefs at Pomme in Clayton Hosted by, and at the Home of, John Sandberg and Celeste Vossmeyer
- Ball Boy for a St. Louis Rams Home Game
- Party of 10 at Pin-Up Bowl
Also, we are building up a great raffle item that includes wine (not sharing too many details in order to not ruin the surprise). Please bring in a bottle of wine valued at no less than $20 and give it to Amy Rhodes.
Advertising
A great way to highlight your business or honor someone is by purchasing an ad in the program booklet. Ideas for advertising include asking your favorite spots you routinely visit, businesses you know, stylists, doctors, shops, or honor your favorite Crossroads College Prep student. Advertising Challenge - the class who brings in the most money in ads for the booklet will enjoy a scrumptious ice cream sundae party hosted by the Gala Committee.
