Last Saturday, October 29th, members of our community gathered for school's annual gala for scholarship - Masquerade - to help raise funds for the Crossroads College Prep robust scholarship program. A fun time was had by all!
Thanks to some lively bidding, we raised $80,000 for scholarship - much needed funds to help support the over 40% of students at CCPS who receive scholarship. Click to view a video of the event on You Tube - thanks to the many talents of CCPS Senior Chris Gatewood.
I am humbled by people's generosity but even more so by the families who lives are touched by your gifts - they are truly grateful. As Clark mentioned, for many, the cost of education is lost opportunity. Thank you for giving so many of our students the opportunity of a lifetime.
