Big Success!-

As an independent school, most of our outside funding comes from generous individuals and corporations and foundations.  As you know, CCPS is unlike any other independent school in the metropolitan area because of our commitment to diversity.

Crossroads College Prep is much more than just a rigorous college prep school. Along with the academics, the exposure to issues of social justice and social responsibility is very much a part of the fabric that makes up the school. The school's socio-economic diversity has become a defining characteristic because our students come from all different walks of life and are exposed to much more than what is offered at other schools by way of self-discovery. The school was aptly named Crossroads as students truly check their differences at the door. We embrace differences and welcome students to be themselves. The result is graduates who are extremely self-aware and seek ways to become contributing members in the communities in which they live.

Crossroads College Prep has a 100% college acceptance rate and our students are sought out by many of the top universities in the country. A number of our students will be the first in their families to attend college and in some cases are the first to graduate high school. The Class of 2011, 26 students, was collectively offered $3.3 million in merit based scholarships - incredible! Quite simply, we have a unique community and our educational experience to help our deserving kids meet their fullest potential.

Many of our students would not have the opportunity to achieve high school success, let alone go on to college, were it not for our robust scholarship program. The school allocates 28% of its operating budget to financial aid, which is why the Gala for Scholarship is so important to the school's success.

Each year, Crossroads College Preparatory School holds a gala to raise funds for the Scholarship and Financial Aid Program.  This year’s Gala Night was held on  Saturday, November 17, 2012 at NEO on Locust.

Gala Night raises money to support the Scholarship Program.  Guests at the event competitively bid auction items to help us reach our goal of $120,000 covering a portion of the funds needed to support our financial aid program.
