Lamar Harris, Director of Music Program at Crossroads College Preparatory School, named Peabody Logos Leader In Education Current Winner! Congratulations, Lamar!
This week we salute Lamar Harris of Crossroads College Preparatory School.
Because of Lamar’s enthusiasm and the success of the program, each year increasing numbers of students become involved in music. All are welcome regardless of experience. This is possible because of Lamar’s willingness to provide individual instruction to those willing to learn. Students tutor one another, practice together during lunch and after school and display a camaraderie that demonstrates what it means to be an orchestra or a band. The student musicians, under the leadership of Lamar, are greatly admired and supported by the student body.
It would not be an overstatement to say that Lamar Harris has created an enviable music program. A talented instructor, willing students and the love of music is a combination that Crossroads College Prep is proud to call its own.
