To qualify, students must have a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale and an ACT score of 25 (or equivalent SAT, PSAT, or PLAN scores). As a successful graduate of the Academy, Mia will receive six hours of university credit, a $2,000 per year Murray State housing scholarship, and the option to take six additional hours from Murray State tuition-free.
Mia was also honored to be the keynote speaker for the October graduating class at the St. Patrick Center held on Friday, October 28, 2011. Way to go Mia! St. Patrick Center provides opportunities for self-sufficiency and dignity to persons who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Individuals achieve permanent, positive changes in their lives through affordable housing, sound mental health, employment and financial stability.
