Gale Student Resources in Context
Provides magazine and newspaper articles on all core subjects from science to literature to history.
Contains articles, illustrations, experiments, biographies and links to web sites related to scientific topics.
Includes full-text articles and thousands of images in the visual arts. Password and login required.
Oxford Reference Online
Allows you to search a broad range of Oxford University Press dictionaries and other reference works.

A collection of articles about authors, genres, themes, and movements in the Western literary tradition.

Focuses on how human beings relate to the environment. The database contains 35 years of content from books, journals, magazines, and government documents.

An electronic version of a 5 volume encyclopedia published by Salem Press, this resource offers biographical and critical essays on over 600 musicians. It covers musical theater, rock, gospel, jazz, rap, Latin, opera, classical and other genres and includes discographies and many photographs. Password and login required.
Critical Insights provides online access to the complete content of books on specific works and authors frequently taught in high school English classes. Password and login required.
